Well this time it was my turn! The fab team at Scimitar sent me one of their tops (which had also been a prize to one of our community – lucky person!) and I am so impressed, I felt it only right to say thanks by writing my review. So here goes…
My first impressions were great – there was no unnecessary packaging and I was able to put what I did receive in our recycling bin – a first win in my eye.
The top itself (I am photographed here just before my run) is a small black quarter zip running top. The material is lovely to the touch – almost feels like some of my more expensive running leggings. It is also a great length, I don’t like constantly needing to pull down my top – after all no one needs to see my belly flashing mid run! The arm length is also ideal, I have pretty long arms and even with my watch on it was plenty and comfortable too. I didn’t fidget with the top once during my run.
On to the best bit about this product and the statement is simply amazing – the top is made out of up to 9 recycled bottles, wow! From the quality, I would never have guessed it.
In summary, Scimitar have really thought of everything when producing this item; it’s great quality, ideal length, made of recyclable items and it even has a pocket to place your house/car key in. I would highly recommend this product.
