September is Thyroid Cancer Awareness month so this is our way of getting involved to help raise awareness and funds to help provide support to people who get this cancer. This charity is very close to my heart after my own diagnosis of Thyroid Cancer in 2021.
This challenge is open to everyone and you can run, walk, swim and/or cycle as many miles as you can between 1st and 30th September 2024 to earn your exclusive butterfly medal (the thyroid gland is butterfly shaped in case you didn’t know the link). This is a cumulative challenge, so please submit once you achieve your monthly total with a minimum of 25k to achieve your medal. You only need to submit once you complete the challenge, our site accepts multiple images (although summaries are preferred).
The race charity is Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust and they will receive a minimum of 20% of every entry fee.
The deadline to submit your evidence is 12 noon on 3rd October 2024.
