Double or Quits…?

The Double or quit race is an annual charity race hosted by Ilkeston Running Club, over the August bank holiday.

The race takes place at Shipley Country Park. What’s unique about the race is, YOU decide the distance you want to run on the day. Nordic Walkers are also welcome to join us over 5 miles. Runners can choose between one or two laps of a 5 mile multi-terrain route. Complete the first lap within 1 hour 5 minutes and you can either run for the finish line completing a timed 5 mile race, or go for the double with a second lap and finishing with 10 miles to your name. The start and finish is the same for everyone and the race has a time limit of 2 hours 15 minutes.

This years charity partner is Treetops Hospice a local charity doing amazing work in the local community. All profits from the race will be donated to this charity.
